About KoY

Sydney-based punk rock duo Kids of Yesterday first formed in 2010 in the jam room of a Tempe share-house.

Founding members Duncan Davidson and Joseph Lamond have been joined by many talented musicians over the years as the band gigged heavily, released several EPs, gained national radio play, and toured before going on hiatus.

After a long break, the pair reunited as a duo in 2020 to release their debut album Escape Planet. Following another sabbatical, they returned in 2025 with the single Tall Lies, and now drop Plato's Cave in 2026.

KoY remains a recording project for now, but live shows are not ruled out if the right opportunity arises.
